Homeless these days, because the mines are closed, (all open cast quarries) and the diet of pasty crusts no more,
the cornish knocker is reduced to scabbing kerbabs and take-away scraps, and drinking dribbles of special brew from thrown away cans, a shamefull existance, even seaguls pick them of now because they are forced to live in the open. A sad end to a cornish piskey-cousin. I found this one rummaging in my bin. having him preserved for future generations to enjoy. |
